Financial Need of the School

The School after Swami Vivekananda, which has been playing a commendable role in spreading the light of knowledge in Howrah and produced a host of brilliant scholars. Now faces a budget crunch. The number of students has increased manifold. On the other hand 12 posts of teacher are lying vacant. All Govt. ex-gratia, except the salaries of teachers, have been stopped. The teaching learning process is being continued by appointing part time teachers. As a result of inflation and steep rise in prices of commodities, we face problems while buying furniture and teaching aids.

 

An Appeal to Ex-students, Guardians and Well-wishers

We, hereby, appeal to the ex-students, guardians and well-wishers for necessary financial aid. The names of the donors who will donate Rs.10,000/- or more, will be engraved on marble. Their names will appear in the School magazine.

We fervently hope that the students have prospered in later life after passing out of this Institution will extend their helping hand to the School. The would be donors are requested to send A/C Payee Cheque or Bank Draft by registered Post to the following address:

Auditorium Project

We started a Rs. 55 Lacs project to build an auditorium for the school. This is an auditorium which can be used by outsiders too. We expect to finish the project by 2012. Please donate generously...
